When I was much younger, I used to dream of becoming a music artiste (who knows? maybe I still do… lol!).
I was in the choir, I loved singing (still do) and dreamt of being on some world stage singing to thousands of people. This was before I discovered my true passion in Acting.
I know many of us had different dreams as a child. At the time I was growing up, almost every young boy wanted to be a Pilot or an Engineer. Now it’s different. Boys want to be Footballers, Musicians and Politicians. The girls also dreamed of becoming Doctors and now they want to be Models. But the truth is that not many people end up becoming what they dreamed of as children.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane today. What did you dream of becoming when you were a child? Did that dream come true? If you weren’t doing the career you are doing now, what would you have preferred?
This should be fun! Hop in and let’s talk about our childhood dreams.

February 15, 2014 at 10:36 amAs a child I wanted to be anything or anyone I fancied…. From Engineer, to Doctor, to musician, to pilot…. The list is endless… But sometimes life pushes us in directions we ought to have found for ourselves and I’m glad my family was there to help…. I’m presently a studying pharmacist…. I’m making progress and I’m enjoying every bit of it.

February 15, 2014 at 10:51 amGrowing up, I had no clue to what I wanted to become. The only thing I enjoyed doing was Laughing and Singing passionately not minding my voice… Lol. I wasn’t serious about anything, up to when I was in ss3, then I became the president of the literary and debating society and I told myself; “Racheal, this is it, you’ll be a teacher”, what I’ll teach and why I wanted to be a teacher wasn’t known and no one bothered cos I finally made up my mind. Then I followed my in law to his place of work; a teaching hospital and there in the hospital, everything clicked, I discovered purpose, I had a reason, everything made perfect sense and that was it! I’m a Dr in Training and in a year or two, I’ll be inducted to fully Practice Medicine. I feel fulfilled n satisfied and I don’t think I’d av fitted perfectly into any other System

February 16, 2014 at 4:27 pmMmmm my dream and vision, when i was a child, mind you vision is a snap short of once future, it was something familiar to Stephanie’s dream about music,I saw myself on a world class stage with white and black people dancing together as one. Right from childhood i’ve been so passionate about music so i joined my church teenage choir really for the love and passion i have for music, the more i grow the more the love get stronger to an extent that when i watch musical performer on TV i get overwelm and a small still voice will always say to me (that is what you born to be), emotions filled me that i shared tears…I have no regret so far and i am getting there . I have performed on a stage with 2500 audience alongside nigerian music superStars,This is my year Peter Pyper which means Rock of Music i am the prospect. The wise one says the cheapest way to get to the top is to locate the footstep of people at the top and implie it according to the way it relates to you. Stephanie i will never forget that word you said in one of your tv interview that as far you can dream ,imagine it you can acheive it,that word as been driving me for years so i am saying that word to you that you can acheive your music dreams too.
