SCORNED (volume 2)

I promised fun all the way, now that I am back, this is part of the package. This is the continuation of the Kate and Femi’s story. Enjoy!

Femi shut the door to their room with a bang and like the door, all the feelings Kate managed to hide in front of Femi comes back with a bang. suddenly, cleaning her face didn’t seem so appealing as she messes up her face with hot tears, “oh my God!” she thought, what went wrong? When did this man suddenly become a monster? What didn’t i do right? 10 solid years. heeeee! chineke merem ebere! Where do i start from? Which man wants a woman with three children? tres? Hey Kate, you are finished; your life is over, choi! Femi, i love him, i love him so much, i can’t live without him or should i go and beg him and ask him to keep the shares. he can even marry that b***h, but please, biko! nkem, don’t send me away. She cries out loud; “no Femi, come back, please! please! please!” she stands up like a woman that’s just come to her senses but acts like a woman that’s lost her mind, she runs out of her house into the compound only to find her husband’s car gone. “Where is my husband?” she asks musa the gate man, the mallam looks puzzled but answers without questions, “oga, i don commot”. Kate shouts at the mallam impatiently. “i know, where did he pass? musa points in the opposite direction; “oga i pass that place” he says. “Kate runs to her car as she screams at musa; “are you dumb? Open the gate” she drives out of her compound in pursuit of her husband.
 She catches up with him as she corners his car, she goes on her kneels in the middle of the road; Femi comes down from his car and walks towards her surprised. “What are you doing?”, Kate replies; “Femi, do you want me to grovel? Here i am, please Femi, i will do anything, don’t leave me, i will be your slave if that’s what it takes for you to be in my life”. She holds on to his legs and cries into his shoes, Femi pushes her away from him and yells at her; “get up! Look at you, you are pathetic, that’s what you are” Kate looks at herself in an oversize top and a faded skinny jeans, it is dirty at the knee caps due to kneeling in the middle of the road, “and you wonder why i am leaving you for Denise, since you already know, yes Denise”. He spits on the floor; “you disgusts me” he says and drives away leaving her on the road.
  Tears streaming down her face like a tap spewing out water, “I am in trouble” she thought to herself. She tries to walk to her car but she couldn’t move, she seemed glued to that spot, her mouth wide open, the pain seemed too intense, she ached only in one place and one place alone, her heart, which she felt would burst in her chest anytime from now; “is it really over? Femi? What happened to for better, for worse? The vow we made before God and man. Her knees gave in under her and she fell on her butt, her mind still active. Her tears seemed endless, cars starts honking for her to leave the road but she couldn’t move. “It’s over; I just want to die now”

  Kate feels a hands on her shoulders; “are you alright, Maam?” she heard the voice say. She nods in her mind but in reality she didn’t. The hand moves her face to look at her eyes and all she could see were clear brown eyes, she asks; “are you Jesus?” the other person laughs and checks her pulse. “Where is your house?”, Kate tries to remember but all she succeeded in doing is mumble incoherent words; “it’s okay, i am a doctor i will take care of you” he carries her to her car, checks her driver’s license and zooms off.

  Hey Dearies! We had things to say about the first but this is a new one and it seems Kate is not as strong as she made us think. Do you think she made a good move by going after her man?
