Hi dearies, you know how I roll, I have some fabulous ideas for some appetizers. Make this for your man and you will have him coming back for more, what makes this special treats more alluring is that you don’t have to spend all day making it, in less than 30 minutes, you could make something that tastes divine and makes your taste-buds jump up in ecstasy singing hallelujah!
Here’s my first no! if you’ve got 20 minutes, kill it making the raspberry dream
2 triffle sponges, diced
4 tbsp, orange juice
150g frozen raspberries, defrosted
1tbsp, caster sugar
150ml low fat creme fraiche
150ml low- fat plain yogurt
Mint sprigs to decorate
Place the diced trifle sponges in 4 glasses and add 1 tbsp orange juice to each. put aside 4 raspberries, then lightly crush the remainder together with the sugar. Divide between the glasses, mix the creme fraiche and yogurt together. spoon on top of the fruit and chill for 15 mins.
To finish, decorate with the leftover raspberries and mint sprigs.
Here’s the second wonder, this, I love! Make your ten minute count!
100g plain chocolate, roughly broken.
300ML ready-made low -fat custard
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and heat over a saucepan of gently simmering water until melted. stir until smooth then remove from the heat. Place the custard in a bowl and gently fold in the melted chocolate to create a marbled effect. Divide the the banana slices between the glass bowls, arranging them around the base and sides, then carefully spoon over the custard and then the chocolate mixture.
My third and final one sounds a little too foreign, but believe me when I tell you it is magic in a glass, whip this up in just five minutes and you are ready for a ride of delicacy.
CREAMY RHUBARB CUSTARD
250g tub mascarpone cheese
250g ready made low fat custard
150g ginger biscuit , crushed
300g, rhubarb compote (Google this, lol!)
Mix the mascarpone with the custard until smooth. spoon a layer of ginger biscuit crumbs into the glasses, add a layer of rhubarb compote, then a layer of the mascarpone cheese and custard mix. continue building up layers, topping off with a sprinkling of crumbs.
So that’s it, SL FABZ. Make it count!
