This riddle tried my patience as a child. I never seemed to find the answer.
You are stuck on an island with a lion, a goat and a tuber of yam. Of course you know that left to themselves, the goat will devour the yam and the lion will do the same to the goat. Now, you have come to a small river and have to cross to the other but can only take one of them across at a time. How would you do it so that they don’t eat up themselves?
See if you can ‘fix’ it in 60 seconds…

October 10, 2018 at 12:35 pmThe only answer is that, carry goat first and cross keep it and come back and carry yam keep it,then carry that same goat back where lion is,then keep the coat and carry the lion and cross, keep the lion and the coat and then go back to carry the coat, then carry all of them and move on with your journey.
