HOW FASHION CAN HELP YOU KEEP YOUR MAN – Part One

Hello SL Fabz,

I will be bringing you a series of articles on HOW FASHION CAN HELP YOU KEEP YOUR MAN

so don’t miss it, make sure you always come back to StephanieDaily to read the full articles. Here’s Part 1 for you, feel free to drop your comments

FASHION! Amazing word, some people will ask how does fashion help you with your relationships? But really your style plays a major role in the success of your relationship or marriage, this piece is not just for the young single ladies, it is also for the married folks too, so sit back, relax and learn some hot tips while at it.
So down to business, I always say marriage is the continuation of courtship, so just because you are married with kids does not mean you have to be a slob in and out of the bedroom, believe me when I say being fashionable is vital in a woman, some women will argue and say it is the beauty within that keeps a man, true but you wouldn’t have that man in the first place if when he met you at his friend’s wedding, you were wearing an oversize black gown instead of that fuchsia pink gown you wore that brought out your hourglass figure and made you look like a fashion model.

I can’t drum it in enough that men are visual beings, they are moved by what they see, and as much as other qualities like your intellect, your attitude towards him and other people, your sense of humor, your maturity and your strengths are what made him fall in love with you, looking good is also important. I mean when was the last time a guy walked into a bar and said wow! Check out that babe o, she’s got something upstairs, see how she dey quote Mahatma Gandhi o, sorry but it just doesn’t happen, because you won’t be quoting mahatma, I mean hellloooo! it’s girls’ night out and even if you were, the music is way too loud for him to hear you from across the bar, but then this really hot guy is walking towards you to ask you to dance with him, why? Might I ask? Because he is feeling that sister with the flawless skin and alluring smile wearing that body hugging top and shimmering shorts? “Look at those legs, dem long from here reach heaven” sister that is what he is thinking, not that you are beautiful inside, because he can’t see that yet, let me give you a scenario.

Dayo is a top executive in a multi- national company, intelligent, beautiful, independent, caring, friendly, down to earth and totally gorgeous, she steps out in her best and after 18 months of dating her beau, they finally got married.
Dayo’s husband was always ready to show her off to his friends, because of her outstanding beauty and style but after having two kids in her marriage, Dayo replaced her lacy underwear for granny panties, her exquisite braids for wash and dry, “I don’t have the time, I have 2 kids” she claims, she doesn’t even remember to put on perfume, her manicure is way past renewal, she just slaps on a pant trouser and a chiffon top and she’s good to go, no more heels because they get her feet tired easily and lord knows she needs her strength or so she says, she really doesn’t care about her looks anymore “I have a man” she tells herself, so she eats anything, so the once slim Dayo has added a few inches to her waistline, oh no! more than a few, gone is the Dayo that makes the men drool when she passes by with her perfectly styled outfit, gone is the Dayo that smells like desert that was carefully made by a highly acclaimed chef when she passes by, this is a new Dayo, a stranger to her husband and you wonder why Dayo can’t keep her man at home.

Dayo is still intellectual, beautiful, even more caring, Friendly and still down to earth and yet she can’t keep her man at home, what changed? Her style?  Right her style, her fashion sense that made that charismatic brother who is now her husband stare linger is now gone, you’d say no matter what a husband is not allowed to cheat on his wife, true but let’s be honest and fair here, if you bought a skin product that has a beautiful pack and from the commercials, it says swift action and then you bought it and took it home only to find out it is the fake pack and it doesn’t work, you’d be disappointed and try to seek comfort by getting another product, as much as we cannot be likened to a mere skin product because we are human beings, Dayo’s husband fell in love with a totally different Dayo, and like I said earlier, men are moved by what they see and if he sees someone that dresses tight like his wife used to, it might just trigger an emotion in him, be it lust or admiration, ladies the fastest way to send your man out the door is to be a slob and not take care of yourself

So ladies! Bring out your pen and notebooks and let me take you through the rudiments of how you can keep your man with what you wear, stay tuned to how fashion can help you keep your man 101

Let me hear from you

I love the truth being told, that is exactly a man’s make up (to be moved by what He sees), women remember that it doesn’t mean you should loss yous sense of decency and modesty to look good so this is no sin at all.
