Imagine this scenario. Guy and lady meet while working at the same company (let’s say a bank). They fall in love and decide to get married. However, the company’s policy does not allow for a married couple to work in the same bank. One person has to resign.
They are both aware of this and have agreed the lady would resign to look for another job. But the problem is the lady recently got a promotion just before the wedding where she would be earning more than twice the man’s salary and now she doesn’t want to resign. The man is adamant that she must saying he can’t be jobless. The lady is arguing that she shouldn’t because she has gotten a promotion and may not get this kind of offer elsewhere.

God said, wife be submissive to your husband and God never add any clause that Situations should determine how submissive the wife should be. if God is not on the lady side, the Promotion which she feels she could not get somewhere else might end up breaking her marriage apart and also loose the job. No matter how little a man earns, he feels like a king, and honoured if he has an understanding wife with respect, humility & obedience. And he would do anything he’s capable of to cherish, pet and adore His wife.
She should be the one to resign, agreement is agreement. The fact that we have agreed on it before and I can always set her up soon, a man has to be the bread winner of the family. But no matter what I won’t let that destroy the marriage, we will both handle it with care and make a final decision.
