Chewing gum makes you very alert
If you find it hard to concentrate in the morning or you experience mid-afternoon slump, chewing some gum can make you feel awake – mint flavoured gum, especially, can dramatically reduce feelings of fatigue. Chewing gum also relieves stress and reduces anxiety.
Drinking Coffee can prevent Depression
Yup! Research found that women who drank a minimum of four cups of coffee per day could lower their risk of depression by 20 per cent. This also impacts on thoughts on suicide, as research shows that females who drank two or more cups per day were less likely to commit suicide. Caffeine gets a lot of negative press, but this is good to know!
