At first glance, it seems easy. I calculated the answer within seconds and thought I was right.
This is what I did:
3 apples = 30, so 1 apple = 10.
10 + 2 bananas = 18, so 2 bananas = 8 and 1 banana = 4
4 – 1 coconut = 2, so 1 coconut = 2
Therefore, 1 coconut + 1 apple + 1 banana = 2 + 10 + 4 = 16
But that was sooo wrong! Look closely at the image again:
Notice that the number of bananas and coconut halves are not the same in the last question as it is in others? I totally missed that at first!
