How can we continue to justify giving our children away to marriage?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A child is supposed to be protected, educated and nurtured.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">She is not yet an adult, regardless of her physical features.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A child is below 18, and at that age her guardians should ensure she is sheltered from harm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Marriage\u00a0for a child\u00a0is harmful and portends trouble- psychologically and physically for the child.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Many cases of VVF is caused by early childbirth<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These are the issue I address in my forthcoming movie, Dry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is a cause beyond just me, it is one that should interest every well-meaning Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you must have kids then you must protect your kids<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Marriage is for adults.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Let our voice not go under, let us not get tired.
