I cannot begin to imagine what his family and friends are going through\u2026 it must be tough.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The scary thing is, many people are depressed, it&#8217;s\u00a0alarming!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We need to reach out more to people. We need to care more. You might just be saving a life!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you know anyone going through depression, or you suffer depression, please seek help!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Here are symptoms of depression that can help you understand better:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Loss of interest in daily activities<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Appetite or weight changes. This can be significant weight loss or weight gain, or eating too much or too little<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sleep changes. You either suffer insomnia, especially waking in the early hours of the morning, or oversleeping (also known as hypersomnia).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Anger or irritability. Feeling agitated, restless, or even violent. Your tolerance level is low, your temper short, and everything and everyone gets on your nerves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Loss of energy. Feeling fatigued, sluggish, and physically drained. Your whole body may feel heavy, and even small tasks are exhausting or take longer to complete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Self-loathing. Strong feelings of worthlessness or guilt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reckless behaviour. This can be reckless drinking, driving, substance abuse, gambling etc<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Concentration problems. Trouble focusing, making decisions, or remembering things.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Unexplained aches and pains.
